A specialist arts centre based just outside Bournemouth, Arts University College offers a range of courses from the arts, including design and media, fashion, film production and events management. The campus consists of a series of purpose-built studios and can accommodate 2000 students on full-time courses. Most students live off-campus in privately-rented accommodation.
There is no LGBT society currently listed on the student union's list of societies. Like many sea-side towns, the city has a vibrant gay scene, centred round ‘The Triangle’ of Bournemouth’s largest gay clubs (so three of them). There are plenty of pubs and bars too.
The LGB checklist should be considered in relation to this institution’s small size.
